The 2025 Honor Roll

Team Do The Thing

Team Do The Thing is rowing 3,200 miles across the ocean from Lanzarote to Antigua. No engines, no sails, no support boat.

They’re doing this for two reasons: to inspire others to find their own ‘thing’ and go after it, and to raise £200,000 for Make-A-Wish UK. That’s enough to fund 100 wishes for children with critical and terminal illnesses!

Along the way, they’ll face 30-foot waves, sharks, scorching heat, and only a bucket for a toilet. You don’t have to be extraordinary to do extraordinary things. You just have to show up and keep showing up until it’s done!

ORCA Expeditions

Ocean Rowing Club of the Atlantic (ORCA) is on a mission to break three rowing world records within the next two years! If they do this, they’ll have made the first vessel in history to be rowed and sailed across any of the world’s oceans.

First, they’ll row from West Africa to the Caribbean in 28 days, and complete the fastest multihull crossing of any ocean on Earth. Then, in 2027, ORCA plans to beat the current cross-Atlantic speed record.

No motors.

No backup.

Just 28 days to cross 3,000 miles.
